Future Engineers - Circadian
Sleeve Artwork
The first new music in nearly 20 years on the re-launched Transference
When Lee from Future Engineers shared the preview for Circadian and the duo's thoughts around potential visual themes, I immediately had thoughts around circadian rhythms, albeit from a sc-fi / dystopian viewpoint.
We are both equally inspired by Bladerunner's aesthetics and my thought went to the eyes and the emphasis that is put on them in the film. I wanted to convey something similar, a close up abstract eye visual that is in a state of constant flux, rotating hypnotically - another very subtle reference to the infamous 360 spaceship scene in Kubrick's legendary 2001.
Working closely with the Future Engineers, we created the sleeve artwork, launch campaign, and full-length videos for the release.
